BJP suspects the hand of SDPI
When BJP’s Government is in power in Karnataka, it should create the dread so that nobody would dare to raise such slogans.

Beltangady (Karnataka) – A video of raising pro-Pakistan slogan outside the Gram Panchayat election vote counting centre, is going viral on social media. It is said that members of SDPI and BJP gathered in front of SDM PU College in Ujire to witness the counting process on 30th December. Both the parties started waving their flags and raising slogans in favour of their parties. Meanwhile, slogans are heard in favour of Pakistan.

It is not clear who raised the pro-Pakistan slogans. It is learnt that the Beltangady Police will be taking suo moto action against the incident. MLA Harish Poonja said that he has brought this issue to the notice of the Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. “I have spoken to the Superintendent of Police to take strict action against those who raised pro-Pakistan slogans and book them under stringent law”.

Athaullah Jokatte, District President of SDPI said, “None of our party workers will raise pro-Pakistan slogan. This has been created by a private TV channel to disrupt communal harmony of the District. The SDPI will file a case against this”. Police have booked 10-15 members of SDPI under sections 143, 124A r/w and 149, as per latest reports.
