Suspension comes in the wake of the new coronavirus strain

New Delhi – In the wake of a new infectious strain of the coronavirus detected in UK, the DGCA has suspended flights to and from UK till the end of January 2021. The initial suspension was till midnight of December 31st, which was later extended till January 7th. Special and cargo flights have been exempted from this order. About 20 people in India have tested positive for the new strain of coronavirus.
