Gujarat Government challenged the punishment !
It is contradictory that the Government tries to control corona pandemic and at the same time also opposes the punishment to those who are violating the rules !
New Delhi – Gujarat High Court had ordered Gujarat Government impose the punishment of providing communal service in a covid centre for minimum 5 days and at the most for 15 days on those who violate the covid-19 norms. The Government has however challenged this order in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has stayed the current order and ordered the Gujarat Government to provide guidelines regarding wearing the mask and social distancing.
