Accused arrested by the Police

Puducherry – A man named Manzoor Ali intruded into the Parvatheeswarar Temple located in Perumal Kovil Street in Karaikal. After entering the Temple, he started taking pictures and videos of the Idols of the Deities in the temple. He then began to abuse the Idols and also started the telecast live on Facebook. When the priests and other people present in the temple asked Manzoor Ali to stop abusing the Hindu Deities, he abused them as well. Following this incident, the Temple authorities called the Police. The Police arrested him and also seized his mobile phone. The Police are investigating the case.
