Auraiya (UP) accident : 24 labourers killed in a truck collision

Auraiya (UP) – Twenty-four labourers died and more than 20 were injured in a truck accident in the morning of 16^th May. All these workers were coming from Rajasthan. The majority of these workers belonged to the States of Bihar, Jharkhand and Bengal. They were travelling by a truck loaded with lime-laden sacks. This truck collided with another truck parked near Chiruhali village. The shock was so vigorous that after collision both the trucks were thrown off into a pit and overturned.
