Offences registered against Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s activists for distributing fruits to the Police and Corporation employees despite being granted official permission !

Police officer of Indore (Telangana) exhibits Hindu-hatred !

It is outright violation of people’s rights if the Police is registering cases despite an official permission has been obtained. Tragically, the Police meekly watches the protesters who do not take any permission, but act high-handedly on Hindus who possess official permission !

Indore (Telangana) – During the lockdown 4 activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised distribution of juice and fruits to the Police and Corporation employees on 21st April. In this regard, they had sought permission from the Assistant Commissioner on the phone. The activists were going to carry this out to express gratitude unto the Police and Corporation employees for their work during the on-going pandemic. After obtaining the permission, the activists distributed juice and fruits to 60 employees at 2 different locations. When they went to the third location, a senior Police officer intercepted them and confiscated their 2-wheeler. All the 4 activists were taken to the Police station. When the activists tried to explain that a permission has been obtained, the officer was not in a listening mood. He registered a case against the activists and kept them in the Police station till 7 PM.

1. According to the information obtained from some reporters and Police officers, as the activists had adorned tilak on their forehead and were wearing orange caps, it was taken as religious act by Hindus and hence, action was taken against them.

2. Prior to this incident, four days ago, the same Police officer had taken an action against a fruit vendor just because he had installed an orange flag on his shop.

3. A discussion is going on amongst people that many social organisations are helping others in this period of lockdown, but no action has been taken against them. Police acted on the activists out of Hindu-hatred.
