Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) – “I speak the truth. The time is right for Muslim countries to come together. We are no longer safe now. If you do not agree with someone’s ideas, would you send a drone to kill that person ? Perhaps you may have a shot at me. The US drone attack on Iranian Major General Soleimani was against international laws. It could also lead to an escalation”, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad told reporters.
Many Iranians living in Malaysia had gathered outside the Iranian embassy in Kuala Lumpur, to protest against the US strikes. Mahathir had tried to form a new organisation for Islamic countries. Iran had participated in it; however, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan did not participate.
