A youth arrested from Nashik in the NEET paper leak case !

The paper leak racket has spread across the country !

Nashik, Maharashtra – As every year, the NEET examination was conducted on 3 May this year as well. However, the examination was later cancelled after allegations surfaced that the question paper had been leaked through the social media platform Telegram from Nashik. The examination will now be conducted again.

In connection with the paper leak case, the police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Nashik and are currently interrogating him. Around 22 lakh students had appeared for the examination, including nearly 2.5 lakh students from Maharashtra.

A suspected ‘guess paper’ had reportedly been circulated on a large scale nearly 12 to 15 months before the examination. It was 150 pages long and contained 410 questions. It is being claimed that around 120 Chemistry questions in it matched the questions asked in the NEET examination.

The leaked copy of the question paper was reportedly prepared in Nashik and later reached Haryana. Ten sets of the question paper were then prepared, following which they spread to Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Rajasthan.
