A minor Hindu girl kidnapped in Pakistan : forcibly converted and married !

Hindus unsafe in Islamic Pakistan !

Islamabad (Pakistan) – In Sindh province of Pakistan, a minor Hindu girl was kidnapped and forcibly converted. She was then married off to a Muslim youth. The organisation ‘Voice of Pakistan Minority’ has condemned this incident. The organisation stated that such incidents involving Hindu girls are occurring repeatedly in Pakistan and must be stopped.

1. According to information provided by the organisation, a Hindu girl named Pooja, studying in Class 9, was abducted and forcibly converted. Her name was changed to ‘Dua Fatima’, and she was married to Imran Ali.

2. ‘Voice of Pakistan Minority’ stated that incidents of forced conversions in Pakistan are not isolated. In Sindh, Hindu families constantly live in fear regarding the safety of their daughters.

3. So far, neither the police nor the judiciary has issued any official statement on this matter.

4. Human rights organisations have stated that the rising incidents of abduction, child marriage, and forced conversions in Sindh constitute violations of the law. The organisation has demanded a transparent investigation into the case, strict protection for the victim, and concrete measures to prevent such incidents.

Editorial Perspective

It is the responsibility of the Indian Government to protect the Hindu minority in Pakistan. The citizens of India expect the Government to take concrete action in this regard !
