Police arrest a woman and her family for throwing meat in the ancient Shiva temple

Maharajganj (Uttar Pradesh) – Tension has arisen after an incident of throwing pieces of meat at an ancient Shiva temple in Khoria Bazar area of the city. The Police took immediate action and took the accused woman and her family members into custody for questioning.

Currently, a large Police force has been deployed in the temple premises and surrounding areas to maintain peace and the situation is completely under control. The incident took place on Sunday, April 19^th at 8:30 p.m.

The government needs to enact a law to ensure that those who commit such acts are punished with death sentence.
