Deputy Police Commissioner Monica Raut felicitated by the Ranragini wing of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

‘Corporate jihad’ case in Nashik

Nashik, Maharashtra – The Ranragini  wing of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti felicitated women police personnel for carrying out a courageous and discreet operation to expose a conspiracy related to atrocities against women. During the programme, they were presented with the organisation’s publications on ‘love jihad’ and ‘Dharmashikshan Phalak’.

On this occasion, Deputy Police Commissioner Monica Raut was briefed about various free initiatives conducted by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and its Ranragini  wing for the safety and empowerment of young girls and women, including self-defence training classes, Bal Sanskar classes, Dharmashikshan classes, and first-aid training.

Discussions were also held on how the organisation could contribute to social service activities such as disaster management and first-aid training during the forthcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik. The Deputy Police Commissioner appreciated the work of the organisation and the Ranragini  wing and stated that they would be included in coordination with the police administration for the Kumbh Parva.

Those present on the occasion included Rageshree Deshpande, Vaishali Katakade, Anagha Pitre, Ritul Patil, Priyanka Suryavanshi, Meenakshi Kolhe, Ranjana Ahirrao, Prinal Sonawane, Kinjal Sonawane, Vishakha Shinde, Priyanka Shinde, Tanisha Bagul, Puja Chavan, and Archana Sonawane.

“Deputy Police Commissioner Monica Raut and her team conducted a highly courageous and discreet investigation in the Nashik ‘corporate jihad’ case and exposed a serious conspiracy involving atrocities against women. Through this action, a message has reached women facing similar situations elsewhere that they should come forward, file complaints, seek police assistance, and free themselves from such circumstances, thereby giving them confidence and support.

The action taken by the women police team will certainly foster a sense of fearlessness among women. All of us in the Ranragini  wing feel a deep sense of pride in these capable women officers for executing this operation with precision and confidentiality and exposing the conspiracy. This felicitation has been organised to honour and appreciate their efforts.”
