Sought monetary help from CIA through email

Buxar (Bihar) – Police have arrested Aman Tiwari and his two accomplices for threatening to assassinate Prime Minister Modi in a timeframe of 22 days. Tiwari had asked for huge funds from American intelligence agency CIA, through email. Police, however, didn’t disclose the amount demanded by him. A cell phone, laptop and many digital equipment have been confiscated from him by the Police. The room where he stayed has been sealed. It is reported that he was running a cybercafé from his village.
1. Investigations into bank accounts and digital transactions of the concerned persons are going on. The Police are checking if there was an involvement of any international terrorist organisation behind this plot. Presently, detailed investigations are underway.
2. The Superintendent of Police, Shubham Arya, stated that it is the most confidential matter and all information will be shared only after the investigations are over.
3. Aman has a criminal background. In 2022, he was arrested for threatening to hack Kolkata airport.
