New Delhi – A four-wheeler drove into the Delhi Assembly through Entrance 2, which is designated for highly dignified individuals. The driver, wearing a mask, went directly to the office of Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta, placed a bouquet outside, and then fled the scene with the car. The incident occurred at 2 pm. Police are searching for the vehicle and the driver. Recently, the Assembly had also received threats of a bomb blast.

Editorial Perspective

This shameful incident exposes the weakness of security at the Assembly in the nation’s capital. If Delhi is so unsafe for elected representatives, how secure can it be for the public?
