Hubballi (Karnataka) – After Sameer Mulla, a gym trainer in Hubli, lured a Hindu girl into a love trap and began harassing and oppressing her, workers of Hindu organisations forcibly entered his house and handed him over to the Old Hubli Police Station. The victim herself posted a video online describing the harassment she faced. She said that Sameer’s sister Taiseem had befriended her and then introduced her to Sameer.

Sameer, a resident of the city’s Vijaynagar area, became acquainted with the victim through his sister Taiseem. He then trapped her. On one occasion, he called her to his house, drugged her, and raped her. The police’s preliminary investigation revealed that Sameer’s phone contained pictures of Hindu girls, photographs of contraceptive pills, and other suspicious material.
