TMC leader Raju Mondal arrested for threatening voters !

Murshidabad (Bengal) – Ahead of the West Bengal election, a video of a Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Raju Mondal doing a door-to-door campaign and threatening people from voting for the BJP has gone viral on social media. Following strict instructions from the Election Commission, Bengal Police have arrested Trinamool Congress leader Raju Mondal from Murshidabad.

In the viral video, a TMC leader Raju Mondal was heard saying, “You cannot vote on the lotus (the election symbol of the BJP). If there is chaos on the voting day, then there is no need to go and cast your vote. I will send sweets to your home.”

He warned, “If you want to make us win because TMC is there for you 24/7, then those who support us will need to cast their vote. No votes should go to waste this year. I am telling this clearly.” A woman who was intimidated by the TMC leader Raju Mondal was heard reassuring him that she would do the needful. “We will note who is casting their votes from each house. Our cameras will be present this time. It will be live this time,” the TMC leader Raju Mondal claimed.
