Monis Khan extracts ₹50,000 from a minor victim after trapping her in love jihad

  • Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) incident

  • Raped her and made an obscene video

Lakshmnapuri (Uttar Pradesh) — A cloth merchant named Monis Khan harassed a 16-year-old minor girl. He befriended her on Instagram, lured her into a romantic trap, raped her, and made obscene videos of her. He repeatedly sexually assaulted her by threatening to circulate those videos everywhere, and also swindled ₹50,000 from her over time. The matter came to light when the girl’s father became suspicious about a missing money box kept at home. Police have arrested Monis Khan.

1. When her father questioned her sternly about the missing money box, she broke down and revealed everything. The victim stated: “Monis was constantly threatening me for money. Out of fear, I gave him ₹50,000 that I had saved.”

2. Police registered a case based on the father’s complaint and arrested Monis.

3. Monis had previously served time in jail on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl 3 years ago. (If he had been properly punished at that time itself, such incidents would not have occurred later! — Editor)

Editorial Perspective

Why is it that those who advocate Sharia law never demand that, in such cases, the perpetrators of love jihad be buried up to their waists and stoned to death ? Since the victim is a ‘kafir’ (Hindu), does Sharia prescribe no punishment for such offenders but instead endorse their glorification ?
