
Mangaluru (Karnataka) – A theft recently took place at Shri Ramanjaneya Temple in Kenjaru village in Dakshina Kannada district. In this case, the police have arrested Shabik Ahmed Sheikh. He broke open the temple doors and stole approximately ₹25,000 from three donation boxes. A case has been registered at Bajpe Police Station.
Shabik is a resident of Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime. The police have seized the stolen donation boxes. A theft case is also registered against him in Udupi district. Investigation revealed that he would travel from Tamil Nadu to this region, commit thefts, and then flee back to Tamil Nadu.
