Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) – While addressing people at an Eid Milan programme here, AIMIM state president Haji Shaukat Ali said, “Do not give me 111, just give me 11 MLAs from Uttar Pradesh. I promise you that if any Muslim dies in a fake encounter in Uttar Pradesh, those
responsible for that action will also meet the same fate.”

Appeal to protect mosques and madarasas

Shaukat Ali further appealed to his supporters, stating that if they want to protect mosques and madarasas, they must unite under the principle of ‘one flag, one stick, and one leader’. He added that such unity is essential to gain representation in the Legislative Assembly.

Editorial Perspective

Will Shaukat Ali explain – If the police are indeed carrying out fake encounters, why do Muslims not prove it ? Despite being a minority in the country, why is their proportion in crime so high ?
