Vulgar song from the film “KD – The Devil” removed from YouTube and other digital platforms

Mumbai — The obscene song “Sarke Chunar Teri” from the film “KD – The Devil,” featuring Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi, has been removed from YouTube and other digital platforms following widespread backlash and angry reactions across social media. The National Human Rights Commission had also issued a notice in this regard.

All forms of obscenity in films negatively impact future generations and society. Many examples suggest that such content contributes to an increase in crimes against girls and women. Given this reality, it is necessary to impose strict restrictions on obscene content in films.

Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut also reacted to the issue, stating, “Bollywood has crossed all limits of obscenity. Strict action against such content is necessary.”

After the controversy erupted, advocate Vineet Jindal filed a complaint with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, stating that the song is “highly obscene and filled with sexual innuendos.”

Several prominent personalities and singers also criticized the content of the song. The film’s producers have not yet issued any official statement regarding the controversy.

The film is set against the backdrop of the 1970s and is scheduled for release on 30 April.
