Richmond (USA) – On March 12, 1 person was killed and 2 others were injured in a shooting incident at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. The shooter, identified as Mohammad Jalloh is an Army National Guard veteran. He was convicted in 2016 for providing direct support to the Islamic State and was sentenced to 9 years in prison. That’s why he opened fire at the university.
9 years in prison wasn't enough to change him.

Dominic Evans, a special officer with FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), said that Jalloh forced his way into a Reserve Officers Training Corps class at the college. He shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Allah is great) and started firing. The instructor, Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, was killed and 2 others were injured. He was stopped and killed by the students present there. Evans called this an ‘act of terrorism’.
Editorial PerspectiveThis shows the mentality of jihadis ! After 9 years of imprisonment, a criminal is more likely to lead a reformed life; but this also shows that jihadi terrorists remain unchanged. Therefore, the perpetrators of terrorist attacks and those who help them should be hanged. |
