
Chakan (Pune) – A middle-aged woman has died after being attacked by stray dogs in the Chakan area. Shobha Vijay Waghmare was returning home around 12:30 a.m. after finishing her work at a private establishment when she was attacked by a pack of 5 to 6 dogs on a deserted road. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed along the route.
She was later found lying by the roadside, initially raising suspicions of murder or an accident among locals. However, it was later confirmed that her death was caused by the dog attack. The incident has triggered intense anger and fear among the residents of Chakan and has once again brought the issue of stray dogs to the forefront.
