New Delhi – The Central Election Commission has announced the Assembly elections in the States of Assam, Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and the Union Territory of Puducherry. Voting will be held in a single phase on 9 April in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry. In Bengal, polling will be held in two phases, on 23 April and 29 April. In Tamil Nadu, polling will be conducted in a single phase on 23 April. The results of all these elections will be declared on 4 May.
