Taloja (Raigad District) – Police removed an unauthorized poster of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that had been put up here.

Two Muslims had affixed a picture of Ali Khamenei, along with their own photographs, on a pillar beneath the Pendhar Metro Station on the road leading to Taloja Phase-2. After local residents noticed the poster, they immediately informed the police. Acting on the complaint, the police removed it. Residents raised questions as to whether putting up such poster on the road leading to CIDCO housing colonies was an attempt to create fear among local Hindus. They also asked why, despite CIDCO developing a new township in Taloja Phase-2, even a single major police station has yet not been established in the area.

Fanatics had earlier opposed lighting lamps during Diwali

Is India an Islamic nation that even celebrating Diwali should face opposition ?

Residents allege that the audacity of religious fanatics is increasing in Taloja. During Diwali in 2025, some fanatics reportedly created a ruckus and opposed residents from lighting lamps in their residential buildings.(Nearly 90% of the flats in CIDCO housing colonies are purchased by Hindus; what actions will the government take to ensure their security ? – Editor)

Editorial Perspective

  • If Muslims in India have such strong reverence for Khamenei — who openly supported Hamas and Hezbollah and made anti-India statements — then they should first be punished and then deported to Iran.
  • When Khamenei, who supported terrorists and oppressed people, was killed, people in Iran celebrated; yet Muslims in India shed tears in his name. This situation is dangerous for India’s security.
