Explosion at a Jewish school in Netherland

Mayor suspects anti-Semitic conspiracy

Amsterdam (Netherlands) – An explosion occurred at a Jewish school in Amsterdam, damaging the school building. According to a report by ‘Sky News’, the mayor of Amsterdam, Femke Halsema, said that ‘the attack was carried out to target the Jewish community’. She said that Jewish citizens in Amsterdam are constantly facing increasing anti-Semitic incidents, which is completely unacceptable.

1. The school caught fire due to explosion, but the fire brigade reached quickly and brought the situation under control. It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured or died in the incident.

2. The attack on the Jewish school has created tension against the backdrop of the ongoing war between Iran and US-Israel.

3. A day before this explosion, another explosion had occurred in a Jewish synagogue in Rotterdam. Officials said no one was injured in the attack and the fire was quickly extinguished.

4. A Jewish organization in the Netherlands has said on X that an Islamist group has claimed responsibility for the attack by posting a video online of the explosion at a synagogue in Rotterdam. According to the organization, the same group had claimed responsibility for an attack on a Jewish synagogue in the Belgian city of Liege.
