India sources LPG from 4 countries !

New Delhi – The escalating war situation in the Middle East has affected global oil and gas supplies. In view of the impending LPG crisis in India, surplus stocks of LNG and LPG from countries like Australia, Canada and Algeria have started to arrive after the central government placed order for the same. India imports gas mainly from Qatar (42 per cent) and the United Arab Emirates (11 per cent); However, due to the possibility of obstacles in these routes due to war, the government has imported gas from these countries.

Indian refineries have increased domestic production of LPG by 10 per cent, so that ordinary citizens will not have to stand in queues for cooking gas or fear shortages.

1 Indian injured in attack near Dubai airport

2 Ghanaian and 1 Bangladeshi national suffered minor injuries in the attack near Dubai airport,  while an Indian national suffered moderate injuries.
