Minor boy stabs youth to death over previous enmity in Bagalkote (Karnataka)

Bagalkote (Karnataka) – Even as the killing of a Class 9 student at a Gurukul in Ballari remains fresh in memory, another shocking incident has come to light in Bagalkot, where a minor boy murdered a youth.

A 16-year-old minor and the deceased, Rahul Bahubali Saptasagar (19), had a quarrel on the day of Holi. The boy later boasted before his friend and girlfriend that he had beaten Rahul during the altercation. Rahul became extremely angry after hearing about this bragging. He then called the minor near a temple, saying that he wanted to talk to him.

During the discussion, an argument broke out between the two, which soon turned into a physical fight. Friends present at the spot tried to separate them and resolve the dispute, but they were unsuccessful. During the scuffle, the minor stabbed Rahul in the neck with a knife, killing him. The Police have arrested the minor in this case.
