Disagreements within the Trump Admin over US-Iran war

Conflicting information from Trump and Secretary of State Rubio, Opposition criticizes

Washington (USA) – The US Government’s deadly attack on Iran has exposed the inconsistencies in the Government. The US media has slammed the Government as President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have issued conflicting statements about the attack.

Iran was planning to attack America

Donald Trump defended the attack while speaking in the Oval Office with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Trump said that Iran was preparing to launch a major attack on the United States and that he ordered the military to launch a preemptive strike. If we had not attacked first, Iran would have launched a major attack on us, said Trump.

America should attack Iran in advance so that the US does not suffer the consequences of Israel’s attack on Iran : Rubio

On the other hand, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “Israel was going to attack Iran and there was a fear that after that action, Iran would target American bases. Therefore, the US attacked Iran in advance as a precaution.”

America is working under pressure from Israel : Opposition

Rubio’s statement has raised the question ‘if America is acting under pressure from Israel ?’ and the opposition has criticized the Government over this. Not only the opponents but also his staunch supporters are unhappy with Trump’s decision. Famous interviewer Matt Walsh criticized saying ‘Marco Rubio’s statement implies that the US entered the war due to Israel’. Former news anchor Megyn Kelly also told the Government that ‘the first duty of the US Government is to protect its own citizens, not to fight any other country’s war’.
