Hindu woman raped by karate trainer Javed who posed as a Hindu

Accused also forced victim to convert to Islam

Indore (MP) – A karate trainer named Javed Akhtar allegedly posed as a Hindu by using the name “Karan” and lured a Hindu woman with the promise of marriage, after which he raped her. He also allegedly threatened to circulate her obscene photographs. The incident took place in Mhow in Indore district. Based on the complaint filed by the woman, the Police have arrested karate trainer Javed Akhtar.

1. Javed, who introduced himself as “Karan Singh,” allegedly trapped the Hindu woman in a romantic relationship and promised to marry her. According to the victim, they became acquainted in 2020 during karate classes.

2. Javed reportedly concealed his real identity for several years. The truth came to light when he was addressed as “Javed” at an event. When the woman tried to distance herself from him, he allegedly circulated her obscene photographs on social media and defamed her.

3. The woman alleged that Javed was pressuring her to convert to Islam. On 26 February, the accused allegedly tried to forcibly take her to a public place and threatened to kill her if she resisted. The Police arrested Javed on the night of 27 February in connection with the case.
