Congress and the Communists upset over Union Govt giving ₹63 lakh to ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav’

  • Congress calls BJP ‘anti-Constitutional’ over patriotic Sanatan Sanstha-organised Mahotsav !

  • Blatantly false allegation that the Mahotsav called for expelling minorities from the country !

New Delhi – The Union Ministry of Culture provided ₹63 lakh to the organising Sanatan Sanstha for the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi in December 2025. This information was obtained by the Hinduphobic news portal The Quint under the Right to Information Act. Congress and the Communists have reacted sharply to this revelation. Without verifying the report, Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak levelled reckless allegations against the Government and Sanatan Sanstha. Addressing a press conference, Nayak said that Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Sanjay Seth, along with Delhi Government’s Minister for Culture and Tourism Kapil Mishra, and several other Union Ministers were present at the programme. She alleged that speeches were delivered at the event calling for the creation of a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ by sidelining the Constitution, and that there were statements inciting violence against minorities and forced religious conversions.

Nayak’s baseless allegations against Sanatan

1. Organizations like Sanatan Sanstha have been misusing and insulting the word ‘Sanatan’. To explain that the true Sanatan Dharma is to help others, not to cause pain, Nayak mentioned a verse from Sant Tulsidas’ Ramcharitmanas. (On the one hand, Congress uses Sant Tulsidas’ Ramcharitmanas’ to slander Hindu organisations, while on the other hand, when senior Congress leaders Rashid Alvi and Digvijay Singh criticise Ramcharitmanas, it remains silent. Note this hypocrisy of the Congress party – Editor).

2. The BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are promoting ‘poisonous ideology’, intending to destroy India’s secular structure, brotherhood and Constitution.

3. PM Modi remains silent on hate speeches. (Even if this false allegation against the PM is assumed to be true, Nayak must understand that India runs on democratic values, not at the whims of a political leader. If Ragini Nayak and her party are so concerned about hate speeches, why don’t they file a complaint against those who make such statements? – Editor)

4. Referring to the alleged controversial statements made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma about the Muslim community, Nayak said that we should remember that such verbal shooting is not done on minorities, but on the Constitution. At this time, Nayak was holding a copy of the Constitution. (Congress has murdered the Constitution by making many changes in the Constitution. Its blood-stained hands are again touching the copy of the Constitution; is this not similar to shooting at the Constitution? – Editor).

5. In response to a journalist’s question, Nayak said that hate speech is used to distract attention from important issues like inflation, unemployment, and the state of the economy.

What is the matter?

A news portal called ‘The Quint’ had published a news under the headline ‘Modi Govt gave Rs 63 lakh for event calling for removing Muslims’. The news portal had published a paragraph of the reply received for its RTI query. It reads, ‘In this regard, the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has provided financial assistance of Rs 63 lakh to Sanatan Sanstha, Sanatan Ashram, 24/B, Ramnathi village, Bandora, Ponda, Goa – 403401, to organize event namely ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnaad Mahotsav’ from 13th to 15th December 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi under the commemoration of 150th years of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’. The Break-up of the expenditure is not available with the Ministry of Culture.’ (The paragraph clearly states that the ministry provided this fund for the promotion of ‘Vande Mataram’. In fact, a beautiful exhibition based on ‘Vande Mataram’ was also put up at the festival. However, ‘The Quint’ completely ignores this point. This raises a question mark on the credibility of this news website – Editor.)

A journalist named Aditya Menon has reported this news and has further said that some of the demands made at the festival were ‘throw away 25% of Indian Muslims’, ‘make India a Hindu Rashtra’, ‘mass conversion’ and ‘mass deportation of Muslims’. It read that this event was supported by the Union Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, Delhi.

Some statements made by ‘Sudarshan TV’ Editor-in-Chief Suresh Chavhanke, Supreme Court Advocate (Mr.) Ashwini Upadhyay and Hindu Fund’s Rahul Diwan, during the event, have also been added to this report without proper context. Through this, ‘The Quint’ made a vain and hollow attempt to portray the event as anti-Muslim.

Government not at fault Constitutionally or legally: Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain

Sanatan Prabhat spoke to Supreme Court Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain in this matter. At this time, he said that it is an allegation that the Government has given assistance worth Rs 63 lakh for the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnaad Mahotsav. It can be a separate topic of discussion whether they have any proof of this. Even if this allegation is accepted, there is no Constitutional or legal error committed by the Government here. The Government can always give funds to preserve the identity of the nation, preserve cultural heritage and organise cultural programmes. There are only restrictions in Article 27 of the Constitution on this, which are not applicable here. Therefore, even if we accept the argument of ‘Quint’ and ‘Congress’ that ‘the Government has given Rs 63 lakh’, the Government is not at fault constitutionally.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi honoured ‘Vande Mataram’ with the highest respect – Congress stoops to a new low to oppose it !

Government funds provided for the presentation and honouring of the song “Vande Mataram” at the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav in Delhi !

New Delhi – On the occasion of its Silver Jubilee year, Sanatan Sanstha organised the ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnaad Mahotsav’ in Delhi from 13 to 15 December. Representatives of various organisations from across the country attended the programme. As thousands of devout Hindus from across Bharat were expected to participate, Sanatan Sanstha organised a grand three-day exhibition of the song ‘Vande Mataram’ in Hall No. 12 adjacent to Bharat Mandapam, in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that ‘Vande Mataram’ should be accorded due honour. A group rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ was also organised during the main event. Alongside the exhibition on ‘Vande Mataram’, there was also a display of the historical weapons of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It had been decided that the exhibition would be inaugurated at the hands of an Hon Minister, and accordingly, a formal proposal was submitted to the Government through the regular administrative procedure. After obtaining all necessary approvals, the Government granted permission. Apart from this, the remaining programme pertained to the Silver Jubilee of Sanatan Sanstha and was titled ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav’. Therefore, Congress is falsely propagating it as a festival for establishing a Hindu Rashtra, stated Sanatan Sanstha spokesperson Mr Abhay Vartak in a press release.

Mr Vartak further said that no speech delivered at the event was against the Indian Constitution. All speakers highlighted the atrocities being committed against Hindus and suggested remedial measures. In reality, when a Chief Minister of Telangana from Congress, while holding a Constitutional post, proclaims “Congress means Muslim and Muslim means Congress”, is that not anti-Constitutional? When a former Congress Prime Minister declares, “Muslims have the first right over the resources of this country”, is that not anti-Constitutional? Despite repeated rejection by the Supreme Court, Congress announces reservations for the Muslim community based on religion. In Kerala, Congress leaders publicly slaughter cows on the streets to protest against a beef ban. Are these not anti-Constitutional acts? Congress should first introspect on its own misdeeds.

People have not forgotten the massacre of Sikhs carried out during Cthe ongress rule. Nor have they forgotten the tears shed for the Batla House terrorists. Despite evidence that Pakistani terrorists such as Ajmal Kasab were involved in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Congress leaders attended the launch of a book titled “26/11 ka hamla RSS ki saazish !”, which blamed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for the attack.

Former Congress Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde has now publicly admitted that he should not have used the term ‘Hindu terror’, but did so because the party instructed him. Why does Congress not disclose who propounded this ‘theory’ of branding Hindus as terrorists ? It was based on this very theory that Sanatan Sanstha was falsely implicated in several cases. We have full faith in the judiciary; however, despite no court having convicted Sanatan Sanstha in any case, Congress leaders and the concerned portal have labelled us as terrorists. We will therefore file defamation suits against them, Mr Vartak added.

Advocate Vishnu Jain is working with lightning speed for the protection of Sanatan Dharma !

When Sanatan Prabhat requested Advocate Vishnu Jain, one of the speakers at the Mahotsav, to send his reaction on this matter, he responded immediately. Sanatan Prabhat conveyed, “You sent your response at lightning speed; thank you for that.” Jain replied, “Work related to Sanatan must indeed proceed at lightning speed !”

Editorial Perspectives

  • The Congress, which accuses the BJP of being anti-Constitutional, has pandered to those Muslims who have openly declared ‘Islam first, Constitution later’. For the sake of these very Muslims, Congress has arbitrarily amended the Constitution multiple times. Hindus have consistently been given the step-motherly treatment. The PFI is striving to establish an Islamic nation by 2047. Khalistan supporters demand a separate Khalistan. In reality, despite suffering Constitutional injustice, Hindus are not demanding a separate land. O Hindus, in view of this entire situation, realise that the treachery of Congress stands exposed, and establishing a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is a necessity !
  • Not a single statement at the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav incited violence against minorities. On the contrary, the Mahotsav provided guidance to awaken Hindus. When protecting one’s life, religion, and community is an internationally recognised human right, will a party like Congress ever digest the fact that Hindus are awakening and striving for this cause ?
  • Through the proceedings of the Sachar Committee, through anti-Constitutional appeasement of Muslims, and by allowing religious fanatical organisations to receive foreign funds in violation of legal norms under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, the anti-national face of Congress has repeatedly come to the fore. O Hindus, now question Congress and hold it accountable !
