Indians trying to gain control over American land by erecting Hanuman statue: Carlos Turcios

  • Ruling party worker objects to installation of a 90-foot statue of Shri Hanuman in the US

  • Hindus express anger

Statue of Lord Hanuman in America

Austin (USA) – In 2024, a grand 90-foot-tall statue of Shri Hanuman was installed within a temple complex in the state of Texas, USA. Following this, a Republican Party worker named Carlos Turcios from the Dallas–Fort Worth area posted a video of the statue on X and expressed his objection. He stated that the statue represents an attempt by Indians to gain control over American land. His remarks have angered Hindus in the United States. Members of the Indian community clarified that the statue was erected by Hindus on privately owned land and that such comments are inappropriate. (Rather than merely issuing verbal rebuttals, Hindus should move forward with legal action against Turcios! – Editor)

While sharing the video, Turcios wrote that “third-world foreigners” are gradually taking control of Texas and America. (By referring to India as a “third-world” or poor country, Americans reveal their disdain for India! – Editor.) He added that people in America need to come forward to stop this “control.”

In response, a Hindu user commented that you had already lost the cultural battle years ago and would also face defeat in upcoming local elections. The commenter added that his “America First” claim is driven by racial prejudice.

Editorial Perspectives

  • When the alleged Islamisation of America is taking place, why do Trump supporters remain silent against it? It is because of excessive tolerance among Hindus that anyone can casually rise and malign Hindu Deities.
  • American leaders and media outlets that accuse Hindus in India of being anti-Christian and attacking Christians must now be shown a mirror by Hindus in the United States.
