Three Inmates including Two Pakistani Nationals escape from Juvenile Observation Home

Jammu (Jammu-Kashmir) – Three inmates ran away from a Juvenile Observation Centre in R S Pura sector in Jammu. One of the minor criminals had a pistol and two of them are Pakistani. They fired at the Police who were on duty, injuring two of them. The incident took place at 5.15 p.m. on 16.02.2026. Deputy Police Inspector Vinay Kumar and head constable Praveen Kumar are the names of the injured.

The incident occurred due to carelessness of the juvenile centre as per the first inquiry report. Six Policemen have been suspended in this case. How the criminal managed to obtain a pistol and how many bullets were fired is not yet clear. It may be noted that the mother of one of the criminals running away from the centre is also missing which is a suspicious matter. A case has been filed. As per the initial investigations, the woman going missing and running away of criminals from the juvenile centre could be a part of a big conspiracy.
