New Delhi – According to a report published by a prominent portal, Pakistan is increasingly being viewed globally as a “failed state,” while Turkiye is emerging as a new hub of Islamic extremism. The report claims that these 2 countries are together waging a dangerous “grey zone war” against India.
It further alleges that Pakistan has become a puppet in the hands of China and certain Gulf nations, and is being used like a poisoned dagger aimed at weakening India.
The growing nexus between Pakistan and Türkiye in conducting a proxy war against India is no longer a secret.
With their anti-India activities exposed to the world, the big question remains: How will India respond to this dual threat? 🇮🇳 🛡️#Geopolitics #India #NationalSecurity… pic.twitter.com/Uhvf41nDw8

1. The report claims that Pakistan’s role has come to light in the recent instability witnessed in Bangladesh. It states that Pakistan provided indirect support to the student movement that erupted in Bangladesh in 2024, pushing the country into nearly 2 years of chaos and violence.
2. After spreading terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan allegedly attempted to encircle India on two fronts by inciting anti-India sentiment in East Pakistan—present-day Bangladesh. Although democracy appears to be stabilising in Bangladesh following the general elections held on 12 February, the report notes that Pakistan’s attempts to fuel unrest there are still ongoing.
Turkiye’s ‘Scholarship Jihad’
The report strongly criticises the policies of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stating that Turkiye has become an engine of extremism in the 21st century. While Turkiye offers scholarships to Indian Muslim students, the report alleges that the true objective is not education but the ideological indoctrination of radical views. It further claims that there is a deliberate attempt to influence India’s Muslim population of nearly 200 million.
India should play the ‘Kurd Card’
The report advises India to adopt a “tit-for-tat” strategy against Turkiye. If Turkiye is attempting to influence Indian students, India, it suggests, should welcome Kurdish students instead. By providing them opportunities to develop skills, strengthen their identity, and assert political rights, India could effectively counter Turkiye’s authoritarian tendencies.
Influence of China and Gulf nations
According to the report, Pakistan can no longer be considered a truly sovereign nation and has instead become a pawn in the hands of others. To stabilise its fragile economy, Pakistan repeatedly seeks assistance from Qatar, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia. In return, these countries; along with China; allegedly use Pakistan as a tool to undermine India. The report concludes by noting that Muhammad Ali Jinnah had envisioned Pakistan as a separate nation for Muslims, but today the country has come to symbolise hatred, aggression, and intolerance.
