
Dhaka (Bangladesh) – In the early hours of 15 February, some unknown persons set fire to the Sri Sri Gaur Nitai temple in the Tarapur Tea Garden area of Sylhet Sadar Sub-District (Upazila) in Bangladesh. Mala Mudi, the manager, informed that the fire spread quickly. The locals tried to bring it under control, but by then, considerable damage had already occurred. The fire damaged the idols of Shrikrushna, Radha Krushna, Pancha Tattva, Deity Narasimha and Shri Jagannath. The fire damaged the Shrimad bhagwadgeeta, as well as the clothes of worship and curtains.
