Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) – Raising the slogan “Hum Do, Hamare Do Dozen” (We two, our two dozen), AIMIM state president Shaukat Ali, at a public gathering in Moradabad on February 9, appealed to Muslims to have 24 children.

Statements made by Shaukat Ali

1. Many people worry about the increasing Muslim population; however, a large population makes a nation stronger. China’s large population is one of the reasons for its global power.

2. Children are a gift from Allah and should be accepted without fear. As long as Allah keeps giving, people should continue to have children. Increasing population should not be viewed as a problem but as a sign of strength.

3. I have 8 children. My elder brother has passed away; he had 16 children. My mother is 97 years old and has 72 grandchildren, many of whom are young and tall.

Hindus should bear 14 children

Some Hindu leaders who themselves have not married are advising other Hindus to have four children. Why only four? We advise our Hindu brothers to have 14 children, because that will help strengthen the country. However, leaders who advise others should first get married and have children themselves.

“2,25,000 Muslims killed in riots during Congress rule!”

During the Congress government’s tenure, out of approximately 50,000 riots, nearly 90 percent of the victims were Muslims. Since independence, around 2,25,000 Muslims have been killed. Samajwadi Party leader linked to liquor business

Former Cabinet Minister and Samajwadi Party MLA Kamal Akhtar was involved in liquor sales in Moradabad. Many people know who operates places like ‘Ghazal Bar.’ Leaders of the Samajwadi Party themselves are connected to the liquor business, yet they accuse our party of being the BJP’s “B team.”

“Fear has increased among Muslims!”

In recent years, hundreds of madarasas have expanded; however, they are being labeled as “centres of terrorism.” Around 100 madarasas have been shut down in Moradabad district, which has increased fear within the community. Muslims now feel unsafe even while traveling by train or bus. Beards are pulled in public places. Muslim girls face public harassment, including incidents where their hijabs (a garment covering the head and neck worn by Muslim women) are forcibly removed. (In this country, examples such as Love Jihad, Land Jihad, Spitting Jihad, terrorism, attacks on Hindu religious processions near mosques, and the fact that Hindus still cannot settle in Kashmir show that it is Hindus — not Muslims — who are fearful. Editorial Perspective

Since the union and many state governments are spending large on Muslims through government schemes, since they fully benefit from all government facilities, and since there is no particular insistence on making children doctors or engineers, it is not difficult for Muslims to have many children. It is also observed that many of them later become involved in criminal activities, so there is little burden of upbringing or moral education — this too is a reality!
