Hateful statement by Maulana Arshad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind

New Delhi – Those who trade hatred and dream of a Hindu Rashtra should learn from the situation in Nepal. A day will surely come when the oppressors will have chains around their necks and the country will once again progress on the path of love, affection and justice, said Maulana (Islamic scholar) Arshad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, on ‘X’.

Madani further said,
Religious fanatics and some organizations are dreaming of establishing a Hindu Rashtra; but they should look at the history of our neighbouring country Nepal. In recent times, people with similar ideology had established a Hindu Rashtra in Nepal; but eventually it came to an end, and a democratic Constitution came into existence there. It is clear from this that in the current global situation, the real progress, stability and welfare of any country can be achieved only through the protection of democratic system and constitutional values; not by imposing a religion or ideology on the nation.
"Those dreaming of a Hindu Rashtra should learn from Nepal!" 🚩
Maulana Arshad Madani’s statement ignores reality. The people of Nepal have seen the effects of 'secularism' and are now protesting to bring back their Hindu Identity. 🇳🇵

Conspiracy to create a Hindu Rashtra won’t succeed
No conspiracy to make the country a Hindu Rashtra will succeed. (No matter how many statements one makes, India will certainly become a Hindu Rashtra one day – Editor). Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind will continue to fight till its last breath for the protection of secularism and the Indian Constitution. History shows that a society that wants to preserve its identity, culture and religion has to make sacrifices for it.
Islam can never be destroyed
The fanatic forces are trying to destroy both Islam and Muslims; but the lamp of Islam can never be extinguished. Those who tried to extinguish it, themselves became extinct. We are a lively community, which does not despair but creates a new story of success with the strength of maturity, vision and right policies. There is no need to despair because of the current situation. A day will surely come when oppression will end, and this country will once again move forward on the path of love, harmony and justice.
