Haridwar – Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the work of cultural revival has gained great momentum. Due to this, future generations have also started connecting themselves with the Sanatan culture. They too have started feeling proud of this culture. Swami Satyamitranandji played an important role in preserving Indian culture. Through his own conduct, he handed over the conservation of culture to the future generation. The contribution of saints is invaluable in connecting the future generation with the Sanatan culture, stated Chief Minister Devendra Fadnvis, praising the work of Saints.

On 04.02.2026, Fadnvis was present as the chief guest at the installation ceremony of the sacred idol at the Samadhi Temple of Shri Swami Satyamitranand Giriji Maharaj in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The ceremony was attended by former President Ram Nath Kovind, Pithadhishwar of the old Akhara Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giriji Maharaj, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Trust Swami Govinddev Giriji, Governor of Punjab Gulabchand Kataria, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Swami Akhileshwaranandji, Swami Harichetanandji, Swami Lalitanand Giriji, Mahant Devanandsaraswati and other dignitaries.

Devendra Fadnvis further stated, “Swami Satyamitranand Giri did the important work of bringing together the scattered streams of Sanatan culture across the world. He devoted his life to serve humanity. By extending help at the sites of disaster, he created the identity of Sanatan culture. Many cultures around the world have been destroyed; but Indian Sanatan culture exists even today.”
