Communist parties are loyal not to democratic values, but to political violence !

Statement made in Parliament by MP Sadanandan Master, whose legs were chopped off by Communists for being associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

A living example of the bloodstained politics and brutal violence of communists is Sadanandan Master!

New Delhi – C Sadanandan Master, a President-nominated Member of Parliament from Kerala, narrated the ordeal of the brutal atrocities committed against him in the Rajya Sabha. During the discussion on the President’s Address, he placed his two artificial legs on the floor of the House. He then stated that 31 years ago, in 1994, activists of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) had subjected him to inhuman torture in Kerala. This shows that the loyalty of such parties lies not with democratic values, but with political violence. Despite this, they speak the language of democratic norms in Parliament. Political violence is never in the interest of any nation; it weakens democracy.

MP Sadanandan Master further stated that,

1. In 1994, while returning home after discussing his sister’s marriage, he was surrounded by CPI(M) activists and brutally assaulted.

2. His only ‘fault’ was that he was associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The attackers threw him to the ground, chopped off both his legs and raised slogans of ‘Inquilab Zindabad’.

3. It was not possible to reattach his legs. As a result, he has been forced to walk with the support of artificial limbs ever since.

Editorial Perspective

In fact, Communist parties that seek to strangle democracy through such violence should be banned !
