Washington DC (USA) – Documents recently released in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein case claim that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates had sexual relations with Russian women. It is further alleged that Gates had contracted a sexually transmitted disease, after which he attempted to obtain antibiotics. The documents claim that he tried to secretly give these antibiotics to his then wife Melinda Gates.

A Microsoft spokesperson has rejected these allegations, stating that the claims made in the Epstein files are absurd and completely false. The counter-allegation is that Epstein, out of frustration after his association with Gates ended, made such claims with the intention of defaming him.

Melinda Gates had earlier stated that she decided to separate due to Gates’ extramarital relationships and his association with Epstein. Gates has also previously admitted that he regretted his association with Epstein. Epstein died in 2019 while lodged in a New York prison.

The United States Department of Justice has released over 3 million pages of investigation documents, more than 2,000 videos, and 1,80,000 photographs. Officials of the Justice Department have clarified that ‘the mention of names in the documents does not mean that those individuals were aware of Epstein’s criminal activities’.

The term ‘Epstein files’ refers to documents, testimonies, court records and investigation reports related to American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein faced serious allegations of sexual exploitation of minor girls. He died in 2019 in a New York prison; however, investigations and related documents have continued to remain in public discussion. These files collectively include names of individuals associated with Epstein, statements of victims, travel records, flight logs, emails, court petitions, affidavits, testimonies, and details related to his financial dealings.
