4 lakh 65 thousand soldiers died, over 15 lakhs wounded or missing, in Russia-Ukraine war : US Think Tank report

Washington (USA) – It has been about 4 years since the war between Russia and Ukraine began. Both countries are constantly attacking each other. A recent report has brought the horror of this war to light. According to the claim of an American ‘think tank’, 4 lakhs 65 thousand soldiers of both Russia and Ukraine have died in this war that has been going on since February 24th, 2022, while an estimated 15 lakhs 35 thousand soldiers have been injured or missing.

According to a study published by the US think tank, the ‘Centre for Strategic and International Studies’ (CSIS), Russia’s continued aggression against Ukraine has left about two million soldiers from both countries dead, wounded or missing. The report states that Russia has suffered the most losses.

2. The report released by ‘CSIS’ on January 27th said that Russia has paid a huge price in this war. 3 lakh 25 thousand Russian soldiers have died, while 8 lakh 75 thousand soldiers have been wounded or missing.

3. The Ukrainian army has also suffered heavy losses during this period. 1 lakh 40 thousand Ukrainian soldiers have been killed, while 4 lakhs 60 thousand soldiers have been wounded or missing.

4. The report also states that no major power has faced such high casualties or injuries in a war since World War II.
