Stone-pelting by extremist Muslims on the idol-immersion procession of Goddess Saraswati in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand

Several people, including Police personnel, injured

Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) – Late at night on 24 January, in Beltu village of the Keredari block, extremist Muslims carried out stone-pelting during the idol-immersion procession of Goddess Saraswati. In self-defense, some participants in the procession also resorted to stone-pelting in response. Several people, including police personnel, were injured in the incident. The police brought the situation under control and deployed tight security in the area. It is said that a dispute arose because allegedly provocative songs were being played in the procession.

Editorial Perspective

Such attacks by extremist Muslims on Hindu religious processions occur repeatedly across the country and all-party governments repeatedly fail to provide protection. This is shameful for Hindus ! To change this situation, there is no alternative to a Hindu Rashtra.
