BJP leader Kirit Somaiya files a complaint against Corporator Sahar Sheikh

The matter of the provocative statements made by Shiekh

Mumbra (District Thana) – Senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya and MLA Niranjan Davkhare met the Police Commissioner and filed a complaint against newly elected AIMIM (All India Majalis e Itehadul Muslimin) for her provocative speech. Kirit Somaiya should a video of Corporator Sahar Sheikh’s speech to the Commissioner. He told that the Police Administration had already summoned her and warned not to do this again. But Somaiya said that this was not adequate action against her in this matter.

Kirit Somaiya said that in the notice the Police have given to Sheikh; mentions that in her speech she said, that in her tenure she would take a tree planting drive and make Mumbra green; but in her speech there is neither any mention of trees nor of tree planting. Instead, she spoke in a threatening manner against the 20% Hindu residents of Mumbra. She spoke of finishing them. Her speech disturbs the communal harmony of the area. Hence strict action should be taken against Sahar Sheikh

What was the statement made by the newly elected Corporator Sahar Sheikh ?

Corporator Sahar Sheikh said, ‘We will get a greater win than what we got this time, in the next elections that are to be held five years later that is 2026. We have to give an apt response to our opposition. In the elections that will be held 5 years later all the elected candidates will belong to AIMIM party. Mumbra will become green we have to drive away all the opposition from here.
