Provocative statement by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Abu Musa Kashmiri

Islamabad (Pakistan) – The Kashmir issue can be resolved only through terrorism and jihad. Freedom will not be obtained by begging, but by cutting the throats of Hindus. One must raise the flag of jihad. This provocative statement was made by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Abu Musa Kashmiri while addressing Muslims in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. A video of this statement has surfaced, though it is not yet clear when it was recorded. Abu Musa is a member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba-linked organisation ‘Jammu-Kashmir United Movement’. His name was also linked to the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam in April 2025.

Pakistani leaders are not committed to jihad

In the video, Abu Musa accused Pakistani leaders of deviating from Islamic principles. He said they do not follow the path of jihad and that any leader who is not committed to jihad has no right to rule Pakistan. He also claimed that he had made similar statements earlier during a meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Muzaffarabad.

Calls to kill Hindus made even before the Pahalgam attack

Four days before the Pahalgam attack, on 18 April, Abu Musa had spoken about killing Hindus in Kashmir at a Lashkar-e-Taiba programme. A video of that speech had also surfaced. In it, Musa stated that Gaza and Kashmir are the same issue and that there is only one solution to both, namely jihad. He said they do not want alms, but freedom. He added that the enemies of Palestine and Kashmir are their enemies and claimed that just as Israel was forced to its knees, the same would be done in Kashmir.

Another Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, Mohammad Ashfaq Rana, had also criticised Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir a few days ago. He said that if the funds received from the International Monetary Fund had been used properly, Pakistan would today be more beautiful than Saudi Arabia and more developed than Britain and Spain. He claimed that the country’s condition is steadily deteriorating and that every child born in Pakistan is born under a heavy burden of debt. Pakistani jihadi terrorists openly speak the language of cutting Hindu throats. This once again proves that terrorism does have a religion. India must remain constantly committed to eliminating such terrorists by striking inside Pakistan. India should take inspiration from the approach adopted by the USA and Israel.
