More than 2500 people die in Iran

Tehran (Iran) – The violent agitations staged against the Government in the last 18 days in Iran has led to death of more than 2500 people. In this background, a protestor Erfan Soltani (age – 26 years) is likely to be publicly hanged.

Irfan was arrested on 08.01.2026 for participating in the agitations. On 11.01.2026, the Iran Government declared him guilty for the offence of ‘Moharebeh (Waging war against God)’. Erfan was not provided an advocate to present his side and there was no impartial hearing of the case.

Trump’s Warning

The US President Donald Trump has directly warned Iran of dire consequences if the agitators are hanged. Trump had advised the agitators to take control of the Government buildings; therefore, it is said that the US is ready to take a big military action in Iran.
