New Delhi – ‘Our culture was very well developed. We did not destroy sacred places of other religions. We did not travel to other parts of the world to loot. We did not attack any other country or people; but we failed to understand our security and the threats facing us,’ said India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, while speaking at the inauguration event of the ‘Developed India: Young Leaders Dialogue’ programme.

👉 We failed to properly understand our own security and the threats before us.
The harsh reality? Even today, little seems to have changed.

Points presented by Ajit Doval,
1. We never slaughtered the dead bodies of enemy
Wars are fought for the will of the nation. We are not psychopaths who find satisfaction or peace in seeing the dead bodies or severed limbs of our enemies.
2. Morale is necessary along with weapons
If we look at all the wars and conflicts going on in the world, it is clear that some countries want to impose their will on others. For this, they are using their power. If a country is so powerful that no one can oppose it, it will always remain independent; but if it has resources and weapons; but does not have morale, then everything is useless. Leadership is necessary to maintain morale. Today we are very lucky that we have such leadership in our country. A leader who has brought the country from the state it was in 10 years ago to the present state.
3. We want to avenge our history
Today’s independent India was not always so independent. For this, our ancestors made great sacrifices, endured humiliation. They went through a period of helplessness. Many people had to face execution. Our villages were burnt. Our culture was damaged. This history gives us a challenge that today every youth of India should have a fire in their heart. The word revenge may not sound very good; but revenge is a powerful emotion. We have to take revenge for our history. We have to take this country back to that place where we can create a great India based on our rights, our thoughts and our beliefs.
4. Wars are fought to demoralize
Wars are fought to demoralize a country, so that it will surrender on our terms and we can achieve our goals.
