Trump threatens Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodriguez !

Washington (USA) – In an interview with ‘The Atlantic’ magazine, US President Donald Trump threatened that if Delcy Rodriguez does not do what the United States deems appropriate for Venezuela, her situation will be even worse than that of Maduro. Rodriguez has criticized the actions taken to remove Maduro from power and has also demanded that the US send Maduro back.

1.A day earlier, Trump had said that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had spoken with Venezuela’s interim president, Juan Guaidó, and that he was ready to work on fulfilling the US’s expectations for improving the lives of the Venezuelan people. If Guaidó heeded the US’s demands, there would be no need to deploy American troops in Venezuela.
2.Venezuela’s Supreme Court has ordered that Vice President Delcy Rodríguez be made interim president. The Supreme Court has instructed Delcy Rodríguez to immediately assume the role on an interim basis, with all the powers of the president.
