Howrah (Bengal) : Devout Hindus burnt an effigy of Muhammad Yunus in Howrah

Strong protest against atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh

Hindus burn effigy of Muhammad Yunus during protest

Howrah (Bengal) – Can any Sanatani Hindu ever tolerate the brutal manner in which our Hindu brother Deepu Chandra Das was stripped naked, tied to a tree and burnt alive in Bangladesh ? What has happened in Bangladesh today could very well happen tomorrow in your own local area in Bengal, warned Mr Ankit Kothari, Founder of Bharat Jagran Parishad, expressing grave concern. He was speaking at a protest organised at Bandhaghat Chowk here against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. As a mark of condemnation of Bangladesh, an effigy of Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the interim government, was burnt. Mr Kothari shared this information with Sanatan Prabhat. On this occasion, Hindus held placards reading ‘All Eyes on Bangladeshi Hindus’.

Addressing the protest further, Mr Kothari said that whether it is Bangladesh or Bengal, through this agitation against atrocities on Hindus, we have demonstrated the unity of the Sanatani Hindu society. We conveyed a clear message to the common people: ‘Batoge to katoge’ (If you are divided, you will be destroyed) and ‘Ek rahoge, to safe rahoge’ (If you remain united, you will remain safe). Through this protest, Hindus have shown that the Nation and Dharma are supreme, above politics.
