  • CM Yogi Adityanath delivers immediate justice to the victim

  • Two accused arrested

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Land mafia had illegally seized a house in Lucknow belonging to retired Army Major Bipin Chandra Bhatt. The victim, Major Bhatt’s daughter, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and informed him of the entire incident. The Chief Minister ordered immediate action and personally followed up on the matter, ensuring that within 24 hours the victim got her house back. Two accused who had illegally taken control of the house were also arrested.

1. Retired Army Major Bipin Chandra Bhatt owned a house in the Indiranagar area of Lucknow. He passed away in 1994 after retiring from the Army. His daughter, Anjana, had been undergoing treatment for mental illness for a long time and was staying at a rehabilitation centre. Taking advantage of this situation, the accused fabricated fake documents and illegally took control of the house.

2. Victim Anjana filed a complaint against the accused at the Ghazipur Police Station in Lucknow. In her complaint, she stated that the accused broke open the lock, entered the house, took control of it, looted valuable items, and also carried out vandalism at several places. However, the Police did not take any meaningful action. (Such Police officers should be sentenced to life imprisonment! – Editor)

3. As she did not receive relief despite complaining at the local level, Anjana met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 31 December 2025 and narrated the entire incident to him. She informed the Chief Minister that Balwant Yadav and Manoj Kumar Yadav from Chandauli had taken control of her house and had even put up nameplates bearing their own names on it.

4. Taking serious note of the matter, the Chief Minister ordered immediate action. As soon as the order was received, the Ghazipur Police in Lucknow swung into action and arrested those who had illegally occupied the house within just 24 hours. On 1 January 2026, Anjana was handed back her house.

5. When Anjana entered the house in the presence of the Police, she could not hold back her tears. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

6. Due to negligence in this case, the in-charge of one Police outpost has been suspended.

Editorial Perspective

If all states in India were to have a Chief Minister like Yogi Adityanath, it would not take long for Ram Rajya to be established in the country.
