If China deploys troops in Baluchistan, it will pose a challenge for India as well

Baluchistan leader writes an open letter to Dr S Jaishankar 

New Delhi – Mir Yar Baloch, a Baloch leader in exile in Pakistan’s Baluchistan province, has written an open letter to Indian Minister of foreign affairs Dr S. Jaishankar.

In this letter, he expressed concern over the growing rapprochement between China and Pakistan. He expressed anxiety about the possibility of China deploying troops here if the freedom struggle in Baluchistan was not strengthened on the right. The letter stated that the presence of Chinese soldiers in Baluchistan will be a big challenge for both India and Baluchistan in the future.

Emphasis on cultural and spiritual relations

In this letter, Mir Yar Baloch discussed the cultural, spiritual, religious and trade relations between India and Baluchistan. At the same time, he demanded the complete uprooting of Pakistan and stated that every citizen of Baluchistan is with India for this. By mentioning sacred sites like the Shri Hinglaj Mata Temple, he clarified that, that was a tradition they had maintained.

Appreciation of ‘Operation Sindoor’

Mir Yar Baloch appreciated ‘Operation Sindoor’ carried out by India after the Jihadi terrorist attack in Pahalgam and praised the firm and courageous stand of the Indian government. He noted that for the last 69 years, the people of Baluchistan have been facing oppression from Pakistan, and now it is necessary to solve this problem at the root and secure the sovereignty of the country.
