Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) : Muslims slit the throat and kill a Hindu youth

• Local Hindus block the road by placing the victim’s body there

Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) – A Muslim named Naushad and his accomplices stabbed a Hindu youth named Nishant in his stomach and slit his throat. As soon as the body of the Hindu youth was found, hundreds of Hindus, along with victim’s angry family members, blocked the road by placing his body there. They made a demand to bulldoze the house of the guilty Muslim youth. At this time, the police were trying to calm the angry Hindus. (If such an incident were to happen in the case of a Muslim, the police would have immediately arrested the Hindus responsible for the crime and beaten them up inhumanely. The Police do not take any stringent action against the atrocities because Hindus are too tolerant. – Editor)

This incident occurred in a village Judwania, in Kushinagar District. On 31 December, a youth named Naushad, along with his Muslim friends, attacked Nishant with a knife. He died on the way to the hospital. Police officials say that the accused have been arrested and strict action will be taken against them.

Editorial Perspective

Bulldozer action is not enough in view of increasing attacks on Hindus; the Government should try to get the death penalty for those who kill Hindus and life imprisonment for their accomplices.
