Midnapore (Bengal) – In Bhagwanpur area of East Midnapore district, on December 20, while singer Lagnajita Chakraborty was singing the song “Jago Ma” at a private school, Trinamool Congress worker Mahboob Malik climbed onto the stage and forced her to stop singing. Mahboob Malik also misbehaved with Lagnajita and attempted to attack her. The police have arrested Mahboob Malik In this case.

Senior police officer Mithun Dey stated that Mahboob Malik was the main organizer of the programme and is also the owner of the concerned school.

BJP alleges Bengal is in the hands of jihadis!

In connection with this incident, the BJP has alleged that Mahboob Malik is a member of the ruling Trinamool Congress. BJP leader Shankudev Panda stated that Bengal is in the hands of jihadis. They are now deciding which song a singer should sing. He termed this an anti-Hindu mindset.
